Section 3 - Sound Equipment Regulations
The equipment used in the competitor's sound system must satisfy the following requirements:
3-1 The equipment (excluding source units and loudspeakers) must be designed for installation and operation in an auto sound or motorcycle sound system.
3-2 The amplifiers used in the sound system must be designed for musical reproduction.
3-3 The sound system must be powered by the motorcycle's / quad's primary electrical system. External power supplies, chargers, and batteries are prohibited.
3-4 The speakers used in the sound system must be designed for musical reproduction.

Additional Guidelines:
  • Only loudspeakers 3.5 inches in diameter or larger shall be counted.
  • All "horn" loudspeakers shall be counted, regardless of size.
  • Co-axial / tri-axial speakers shall only count as a single speaker.
