This past weekend, long-time veteran competitor Alan Dante set a new record for the loudest car stereo system ever measured. Alan's record shattering score took place at the South American dBDRA Championship in Ubatuba, Brazil on October 26-27, 2019.
According to Wayne Harris, dBDRA President, Alan qualified with a staggering 184.3 db run. Then, he backed up this score with a mind-blowing score of 184.9 db. Ten minutes later he backed it up again with a score of 184.7 db.
"This is the loudest score ever recorded in legal SPL competition" said Harris. "I cannot overstate the magnitude of this accomplishment. Alan has been chasing this for almost two decades. His perseverance finally paid off."
The dBDRA wishes to congratulate Alan for this milestone in dB Drag Racing history.
