Basic RTA Measurements with the Term-LAB RTA Mic

Basic RTA Measurements Using the Term-LAB RTA Mic
- Launch Term-LAB Magnum
- Click on the blue "Mode" button and select "RTA".


- Attatch the Term-LAB RTA microphone to one of the input ports on the front of the Term-LAB Magnum / Rebel. (Disconnect any other sensors and/or Power Probes from the Term-LAB.)
- Your screen should look similar to the one shown below.

Basic RTA Measurements
- Select "Slow + Ballistics" for the display speed.

- Click on the orange (circle arrow) Reset button.

- Click on the green (Play) start button to start the measurement.

- Click on the red (square) Stop button to stop the measurement.
Basic SPL Measurements
- Select "peak hold" for the display speed.

- Optional: Change the "Top" bargraph value to 140 (see bargraph range adjustment below).
- Click on the orange (circle arrow) reset button.
- Click on the green (play) start button to start the measurement.
- Click on the red (square) stop button to stop the measurement.
Bargraph Range Adjustment
- Click on the "RTA" button.

- You should see the following panel...

- Top controls the maximum bargraph value.
- dB / Div controls how many db per division.
- Press the "RTA" button again to hide the RTA settings panel.
