Problem:When installing the program under Windows 95, the following error message appears; "Disk error reading drive A. Abort, Retry, Fail?"
Solution: This is actually a problem with the Windows 95 operating system. Press R for retry until the operation is successful. Note: it may take as many as 8-10 attempts before Windows 95 can read the disk. If this doesn't correct the problem, you may have to transfer the authorization manually. Please refer to the article on Security Errors.
Problem:You cannot get the program to run on a computer with an AMD or CYRIX processor.
Solution: This occurs because the internal clock speed (inside the CPU Processor chip) is much faster than that of an equivalent Pentium based machine. WHE has confirmed this to be a problem and a fix will be available soon.
Problem: When scrolling through the drive database, certain drivers cause the program to crash.
Solution: This occurs when invalid data is entered into the Drive Name filed. The offending character is the quote symbol " as in 10" woofer. To correct the problem, the user must erase the offending library and then re-install Term-PAK. To erase the defective library, use Windows Explorer to look in the C:\Termpak\Drivers folder. (C:\Termpak\Lib in older versions of the program.) Delete the offending library. For example, if the offending library is G, delete the library file named TP-G.lib. If you have downloaded updates for Term-PAK, you will need to re-install the latest update.
