Wayne has been with
Rockford Corporation
since 1988 (Retired in 2000). During this time, he has garnered two Design and Engineering
awards from the Electronics Industries Association. The first of these was
for the Hafler MAX-410 electronic crossover in 1989. In 1991, the
Symmetry Mobile
Audio Control System received the same prestigious award.

In 1996, Wayne founded TERMPRO.COM,
a website dedicated to autosound enthusiasts. During that same year, he was dubbed one of six
"Sound-Off Legends" by Car Audio magazine.

In 1992, Wayne was personally named as one of the
Top Ten Most Influential People in the car audio industry from 1987 to
1992 by Car Stereo Review magazine.
In 1989, Wayne introduced TERM-1, a software package
that allowed installers and engineers to design and model low-frequency
enclosures prior to construction. In 1991 TERM-2 was introduced followed
by Term-PRO in 1992
and Term-CAD 3D in
1995. Wayne is also responsible for designing the computerized testing
facilities Rockford uses to test and burin-in all of its amplifiers.
Wayne has been involved in the autosound industry
since 1984. One of his first show cars, the
"TERMINATOR"
has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions. The TERMINATOR
achieved national recognition when it won first place
at two National Level car audio events in 1984 and 1985. Wayne has also
been credited for being the first to use stiffening capacitors and bus
bars in an autosound installation.
From 1985-1988, Wayne worked as a design engineer
for Orion industries, another American car audio manufacturer.
In 1990, Wayne served on the
International
Autosound Challenge Association's board of directors. He also
participated as a contributing editor for Car Stereo Review
magazine from 1989 to 1993.
In 1994, Wayne promoted the first ever
dB Drag Racing
event. Since then, dB Drag Racing has evolved into one of the most
exciting auto sound competiton formats ever devised.
Wayne's hobbies include flying airplanes, scuba diving, storm chasing,
personal watercraft, golf, electronics, computers, and
auto sound.
