dB Drag Racing Announces Toys for Tots Campaign

The dB Drag Racing Association, in conjuction with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program, is proud to announce the dB Drag Racing / Bass Race Toys for Tots competition series.
As an incentive to retailers, the dBDRA will waive the listing fees for qualifying events that are scheduled during the first two weekends in December 2008. To qualify, event promoters must collect new, unwrapped toys in lieu of an entry fee from participating contestants. These toys will then be distributed to local families by a Toys for Tots representative.
The economic downturn has created hardship for many families this year., said Wayne Harris, President of the dBDRA. Our goal is to provide shiny new toys to children who otherwise might have gone without.

Qualifying Requirements
- A dB Drag Racing and/or Bass Race event must be registered to take place on the first or second weekend of December 2008.
- To participate in the event, contestants must provide a new, unwrapped toy ($20 or more recommended) upon registration. No other form of payment shall be accepted.
- The dBDRA will establish communication between the event sponsor / promoter and the local Toys for Tots representative.
