PRELIMINARY

Contestants shall first compete in one of the six Regional Championships located in the USA and Europe.

There are three Regional Championship locations in the USA and three Regional Championship locations in Europe. Contestants in North America may participate at any one of the three locations in the USA and contestants in Europe may participate at any one of the three locations in Europe. To be eligible for competition in the Regional Championship, competitors must be a current member (dB Drag Racing or Bass Race) and the competitor must have a Certified Score for the class in which they will be competing. Participants at each Regional Championship location will only compete against other contestants that are physically present at that location.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st-8th place in each class at each Regional Championship location.

Seperate National Championships will take place in the USA and Europe. Contestants participating in the USA will be competing in the North American National Championship and contestants participating in Europe will be competing in the European National Championship.

Eligibility for competition in the North American National Championship will be determined as follows...

• Only competitors that have met the World Finals qualification requirements will be considered.
• The results from each North American Regional Championship will be combined into a single database. We will then select the two loudest contestants in each class based on their highest backed-up score (World Record Methodology).

Once the two finalists in each class have been identified, they will be entered into a new North American Championship competition. No qualifying runs will be permitted. The National Championship will consist of a single final elimination round only. The winner in each class will be the North American Champion for that class. Contestants participating in the North American National Championship may be competing against a contestant that is physically present at the same location or they may be competing against a contestant that is located at one of the other two Regional Championship locations in North America.

Eligibility for competition in the European National Championship will be determined as follows...

Custom superbowl - style rings will be awarded to the World Champion in each class.
