Mythbusters to Cover dB Drag Racing at SBN

The dB Drag Racing Association is pleased to announce that MythBusters will be on-site to interview and videotape dB Drag Racing competitors at the Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach Florida on March 26, 2006.
MythBusters airs on the Discovery Channel every Wednesday at 9 p.m. Each week, special-effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman and Build Team members Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara take on urban myths and use modern-day science to validate or debunk them.
The dB Drag Racing segment may be included in an upcoming episode entitled, “Shattering Subwoofers”. In this episode, the MythBusters will attempt to determine if a sound system can shatter a vehicle’s windshield, among other sound related experiments. Wayne Harris, president and founder of the dBDRA has been acting as a technical resource for the episode and will assist with the coordination of interviews and taping in Daytona Beach.
