The TERMLAB.NET system is a precision measurement instrument that utilizes a combination of hardware and software technology to measure the sound intensity inside of a vehicle. (Term-LAB requires a PC or laptop for operation.) The meter permits the user to measure the Sound Pressure Level of up to 4 competition vehicles simultaneously while running in local mode. When an Internet connection is established, multiple TERMLAB.NET systems may be linked together, permitting contestants to compete against one another simultaneously regardless of locale.

Term-LAB.NET offers the following innovative features...

- Up to 4 vehicles may be metered simultaneously with each TERMLAB.NET system.
- Multiple TERMLAB.NET systems may be linked together to enable contestants to compete with one another, regardless of geographic location.
- Spectators may tune-in and view the output of the meter in real-time.
- The SPL transducers utilized in the TERMLAB.NET system are based on an innovative use of pressure sensor technology for accuracy and durability.
- The SPL transducers incorporate integrated suction-cups, which are used for affixing the transducer to the inside of the contestants windshield during competition. This eliminates the need for temperamental and bulky microphone stands.
- When connected to the Internet, TERMLAB.NET dynamically interacts with the dB Drag Racing website, notifying the user of potential new World Records, program updates, and diagnostic information.
- TERMLAB.NET incorporates a built in CHAT dialog box while in linked mode to allow the officiating staff at each location to communicate with one another.
- Event results are automatically uploaded to the dB Drag Racing website at the conclusion of the event.
- TERMLAB.NET is the worlds only SPL meter with integrated Internet functionality.
