January 10, 2012 Las Vegas, NV For Immediate Release
WHE Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of Term-LAB 2012. This is a major software update for the award winning Term-LAB Measurement system. Customers who have a current software maintenance plan are entitled to this update at no charge. Customers who want to sign up or renew their software maintenance can do so by clicking HERE.
New Features include...
Bass Boxing Judging Mode - This mode provides automatic scorekeeping for IASCA's Bass Boxing competition format. The software supports the qualifying run, doors closed run, one door open run, and both doors open run. The later three scores are then averaged for the average SPL.
Better Social Media Integration (including Facebook and Twitter) - The new version of Term-LAB makes it extremely easy to publish to Facebook or Twitter. If you see it on the screen, you can probably publish it to Facebook with the click of a mouse.
Screen Shot Captures - Term-LAB now supports screen shot captures. Simply press the "Capture" button on the main screen and Term-LAB will save a copy of the screen to your hard drive. Once the capture has been made, the user only needs to press the "Facebook" button to publish the photo on Facebook.
Live Results - Now, the current standings and/or results of a show will be updated on the Termpro website immediately after each run in the judging lanes. (No more waiting for the judge to upload the results days or weeks after the conclusion of a show!) In addition, if the judge has a webcam attached to the computer, the software can also take a snapshot of the lanes, emboss the names of the competitors and their scores on the photo, and upload that to the photo album associated with the event on the Termpro website. Screen captures are also supported and will be automatically uploaded to the photo album if that option is enabled.
Social Media updates are also supported. After each run, the judge has the option to publish the results of the run, and optionally publish a snapshot of the lanes or a screenshot, to Facebook. The scoring information is pre-populated in the message box. The Facebook post will appear on the judges Facebook wall. The post will include links to the event on the Termpro website and will display an icon that represents the image the judge selected to include with the post. The judge may also send these results to Twitter.
To use the Live Results feature of Term-LAB, the event must be registered on the Termpro website. Currently, Termpro lists events for the dBDRA, IASCA, USACi, and NSPL. An internet connection is also required. The Live Results requires the Event Promoter Pro upgrade. Additional information regarding the configuration of Live Results can be found HERE.
Numerous other enhancements and bug fixes are also included as part of this update.
